www5 temporaneamente irrangiungibile

Il server “contumacia” (alias www5) è rimasto irrangiungibile per parte di venerdì 8 febbraio.
Si è trattato di un problema del nostro provider: le vostre caselle di posta sono state spostate temporaneamente su uno degli altri server (in modo da farvi continuare a mandare e ricevere mail) e ovviamente non potevate vedere le mail che avevate già ricevuto sul vecchio server. Ora che il server www5 è tornato online dovreste avere sia i vecchi messaggi che i nuovi nelle vostre mailbox. Grazie per la fiducia e per tutto il pesce.

The server “contumacia” (aka www5) has been temporarily unavailable during friday 8th february.
It was a problem on our provider side: your mailbox had been moved temporarily to another of our servers to ensure you could send and receive mail (even though the mail you already received on the www5 server remained temporarily unavailable to you). Now that the server is back online you should have both your old mail and the mail you had got in the meantime. If not so, please contact us and we will try to solve the problem. Thanks for your trust and for all the fish anyway.

    ciao o un grande problema! probabile il tuo server 5 caduto a fottuto tutte mio emails! e da tre giorni che sono senza il mio email e persone stanno mandando a me emails ma non stanno arrivando! quisto e un problema grave perche molto informazione sta persa e non posso vederla! per favore, io spero che solvate quista problema e spero che mie emails non sono persi per sempre. grazze mille e tanto solidariete.

    maybe you can speak english. the down of the server has been recovered and you should have gotten your mails back.
    As you can read in the “infrastructure” section of our site, we DO NOT guarantee the persistence of your mail in case of problems to a server, since we decided to focus our skills on guaranteeing the continuity of the mailing service as more important than the strict content of the users’ mail. We do not keep a backup of your PRIVATE mail and do not want to, so in some cases it could be possible you lose your mails.
    This IS NOT the case, as it was only a temporary problem of the server, and your mail had been temporarily moved to another server to ensure you could continue to send and receive mails, while the server where your archived mail came back to life. As soon as the www5 server was back on line all your mail should have been back to where they were.
